The Technology committee is responsible for ensuring statewide technology change proposals, automation procedures and policy, computer system change requests, and new technology proposals to support the mission and strategic goals of the California Child Support Association. The committee will be responsible for cataloging and sharing technology applications from LCSA’s in order to enhance the ability of Local Child Support Agencies to operate effectively and efficiently.
AREAS OF RESPONSIBIILTY
- Analyzing technology needs of LCSA's, prioritizing requests to DCSS for system changes, enhancements, and new technologies. Identifying necessary system updates and sponsoring demands for statewide changes
- Provide input on technology changes and enhancements
- Propose solutions for system workarounds, participate in modernization discussions
- Facilitate data-driven decisions, share technology ideas, develop communications on automation changes
- Ensure committee representation in the Enterprise Project Management group.
